As the World Turns…

Much has happened since I last wrote a blog post. The biggest change has been I’ve turned in a new direction with my art. I am no longer offering just dog or pet related items, no longer offering jewelry made of polymer clay, and no longer only craft in clay. My work has made some major shifts, which sometimes has left my head spinning!

Multi-media has been my focus as of late and I’ve added needle felting to my art skills. I have been combining polymer clay with some of my needle felting, and I find I quite like the contrast between the two mediums. The softness of the wool against the hardness of the clay lends to an interesting tactile combination. It has opened up more directions for my art to take and allows me greater access to the ability in creating one-of-a-kind pieces that are like nothing any other artist is creating at this time.
