Pluvial Hush captures a crow in a quieter moment, surrounded by cool blues that evoke rain, water, and the softened atmosphere of a storm.
Rather than relying on realism, the bird is built through simplified shapes, bold lines, and layered fields of blue. The surrounding forms shift between droplets, ripples, and fragments of sky, allowing the crow to emerge from—and nearly dissolve back into—its environment.
Created in needle-felted wool, Pluvial Hush pairs the tactile softness of fiber with a graphic, almost stained-glass quality. It is a small study in color, texture, and stillness: the world momentarily hushed by rain.
